Clack control valve error codes 103 and 104

E3, Err – 1003, Err – 103 or Err – 1004, Err – 104 appears in the display

What does error code 103 mean?

The control valve motor ran for too long and could not find the next cycle position (Error 103) or the home position (Error 104) .

Possible causes:

The engine failed during a regeneration

Check the motor connections. Then press the NEXT and REGEN buttons for 3 seconds to resynchronize the software with the piston position or disconnect the power from the PC board for 5 seconds and then reconnect it.

Foreign objects slow down the engine

Replace the piston and stack assemblies. Press the NEXT and REGEN buttons for 3 seconds to resynchronize the software with the piston position, or disconnect the power from the PC board for 5 seconds and then reconnect it.

The drive bracket is not properly engaged and is turned out so far that the reduction gears and drive gear are not connected to each other.

Snap the drive tray into place, then press the NEXT and REGEN buttons for 3 seconds to resynchronize the software with the piston position or disconnect the power from the PC board for 5 seconds and then reconnect it.
