Clack control valve error code 106

The display shows Err -1006, Err – 106, Err - 116, Error 106

What does error code 106 mean?

MAV / SEPS / NHBP / AUX MAV valve motor ran for too long and could not find the correct parking position.

Motorized Alternating Valve = MAV; Separate Source = SEPS; No Hard Water Bypass = NHBP; Auxiliary MAV = AUX MAV

Possible causes:

The control valve is programmed for ALT A or b, nHbP, SEPS or AUX MAV without a MAV or NHBP valve connected to operate this function

If your system is not a duplex system with two control valves, the software is programmed incorrectly. Please contact us to resolve this error. However, if it is a system with two control units, please move on to the next cause of the error.

Not all included cables are connected or are connected incorrectly

Make sure the two control valves are wired correctly. Connect the MAV/NHBP motor to the two-pin PC board connector labeled DRIVE. Press the NEXT and REGEN buttons for 3 seconds to resynchronize the software with the piston position, or disconnect the power from the PC board for 5 seconds and then reconnect it.

MAV/NHBP motor not fully engaged in reduction gear

Insert the motor correctly into the housing (do not use force). Press the NEXT and REGEN buttons for 3 seconds to resynchronize the software with the piston position or disconnect the power from the PC board for 5 seconds and then reconnect it.

Foreign objects located in the piston and stack assemblies create friction

The piston unit needs to be replaced. After replacing, press the NEXT and REGEN buttons for 3 seconds to resynchronize the software with the piston position, or disconnect the power from the PC board for 5 seconds and then reconnect it.
