Warranty conditions

The following warranty conditions apply to products offered in the Alfiltra online shop. The warranty period is 2 years and begins from the date of purchase. For selected products, the warranty can be extended by a further 3 years by purchasing a warranty extension. The guarantor is Alfiltra GmbH Industriestr. 60 76646 Bruchsal.

If defects occur within the stated guarantee periods that are neither due to damage as a result of misuse, improper handling, changes to the device (e.g. unscrewing the housing, removing components) by the customer nor due to electrical or mechanical overload and have not yet been caused by you If repair attempts are made by a third party, we will either replace or repair the device at our own discretion. If a device that is identical in every respect is no longer available to us, we are entitled to replace it with a technically equivalent device. In the event that the type of warranty fulfillment we have chosen is not possible, we will reimburse you for the current value of the device in question.

In order to fulfill our warranty, please contact us by telephone or in writing at alfiltra.de/hilfe before sending in the defective device and the copy of the invoice. For goods that can be sent by parcel (everyday, compact goods without special handling), please contact us for a return label. For goods that cannot be sent as parcels (bulky or fragile freight forwarding goods), please contact us to arrange a collection date for a freight forwarding company.

1. Warranty claims can only be asserted after the customer presents the original invoice or corresponding proof of purchase.

2. It is at Alfiltra's discretion whether the guarantee will be fulfilled by replacing or repairing the device or the defective part. Further claims are excluded.

3. Warranty repairs may only be carried out by Alfiltra specialist dealers or Alfiltra contractual partners. There is no right to reimbursement for repairs carried out by third parties, as such repairs and any damage they may cause to the device are not covered by this warranty.

4. If the device is to be used in a country other than the country for which it was originally designed and produced, any modifications must be made to the device in order to adapt it to the technical and / or safety standards of that other country. Such changes are not due to defects in materials or workmanship of the device and are not covered by this warranty. The costs for such changes and for any damage caused to the device will not be reimbursed.

5. The following are excluded from the guarantee:
a) Periodic inspections, maintenance and repair or replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear;
b) Transport and travel costs as well as costs incurred in setting up and dismantling the device;
c) misuse and misuse of the device as well as incorrect installation;
d) Damage caused by lightning, water, fire, force majeure, war, incorrect mains voltage, inadequate ventilation or other reasons for which Alfiltra is not responsible.

6. This warranty is product-related and can be claimed within the warranty period by any person who has legally purchased the device.

7. The rights of the buyer under the applicable national legislation, ie the rights and warranty claims of the buyer against the seller derived from the purchase contract as well as other rights, are not affected by this guarantee. Unless national legislation provides otherwise, the buyer's claims are limited to the points specified in this guarantee.
