Warranty conditions

The following warranty conditions apply to products offered in the Alfiltra online shop. The warranty period is 2 years and begins on the date of purchase. For selected products, the warranty can be extended by a further 3 years by purchasing a warranty extension. If a maintenance contract is concluded, the warranty on the serviced product is extended to up to 7 years if the contract runs uninterrupted. The guarantor is Alfiltra GmbH Industriestr. 60 76646 Bruchsal.

If defects occur within the specified warranty period that are not due to damage caused by improper use, improper handling, modifications to the device (e.g. unscrewing the housing, removing components) by the customer or due to electrical or mechanical overload, and if no repair attempts have been made by you or a third party, we will either replace or repair the device at our own discretion. If a device that is identical in every respect is no longer available to us, we are entitled to replace it with a device that is technically equivalent. If we are unable to fulfill the warranty in the manner we have chosen, we will reimburse you for the current value of the device in question.

In order to fulfill our guarantee, please contact us by phone or in writing via alfiltra.de/hilfe before sending in the defective device and the invoice copy. For goods that can be sent by parcel (everyday, compact goods that do not require special handling), please contact us for a return label. For goods that cannot be sent by parcel (bulky or fragile freight forwarding goods), please arrange a pick-up date with us by a freight forwarding company.

1. Warranty claims can only be made upon presentation of the original invoice or appropriate proof of purchase by the customer.

2. It is at Alfiltra's discretion whether the guarantee is fulfilled by replacing or repairing the device or the defective part. Further claims are excluded.

3. Repairs under warranty may only be carried out by Alfiltra dealers or Alfiltra contract partners. There is no right to reimbursement of costs for repairs carried out by third parties, as such repairs and any damage to the device that may result from them are not covered by this warranty.

4. If the device is to be used in a country other than the one for which it was originally designed and manufactured, any modifications to the device must be made to adapt it to the technical and/or safety standards of that other country. Such modifications are not due to material or manufacturing defects in the device and are not covered by this guarantee. The costs for such modifications and any damage to the device caused by them will not be reimbursed.

5. The following are excluded from the guarantee:
a) Regular inspections, maintenance and repair or replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear;
b) transport and travel costs as well as costs incurred in setting up and dismantling the device;
c) misuse and improper use of the device as well as incorrect installation;
d) Damage caused by lightning, water, fire, force majeure, war, incorrect mains voltage, inadequate ventilation or other reasons for which Alfiltra is not responsible.

6. This warranty is product-related and may be claimed within the warranty period by any person who has legally purchased the device.

7. The rights of the buyer under the applicable national legislation, i.e. The rights and warranty claims of the buyer against the seller derived from the purchase contract as well as other rights are not affected by this guarantee. Unless national law provides otherwise, the buyer's claims are limited to the points mentioned in this guarantee.
