Warranty conditions

The following warranty conditions apply to products offered in the Alfiltra online shop. The warranty period is 2 years and begins on the date of purchase. For selected products, the warranty can be extended by an additional 3 years by purchasing a warranty extension. With the conclusion of a maintenance contract, the warranty on the serviced product is extended to up to 7 years, provided the contract remains in effect without interruption. The warranty provider is Alfiltra GmbH, Industriestr. 60, 76646 Bruchsal, Germany.
If defects occur within the stated warranty period that are not due to damage resulting from improper use, mishandling, modifications to the device (e.g., opening the casing, removing components) by the customer, or electrical or mechanical overload, and if no repair attempts have yet been made by you or a third party, we will, at our discretion, either replace or repair the device. If a device that is identical in every respect is no longer available to us, we are entitled to provide a replacement with a technically equivalent device. In the event that the method of warranty fulfillment we have chosen is not possible, we will reimburse you for the current market value of the device in question.
To ensure we can honor our warranty, please contact us by phone or in writing via alfiltra.de/hilfe before sending in the defective device and a copy of the invoice. For items that can be shipped by parcel (everyday, compact items without special handling), please contact us for a return label. For items that cannot be shipped by parcel (bulky or fragile items requiring freight shipping), please arrange a pickup appointment with a freight carrier.
1. Warranty claims can only be made upon presentation of the original invoice or corresponding proof of purchase by the customer.
2. Alfiltra reserves the right to decide whether the warranty is fulfilled by replacing or repairing the device or the defective part. Further claims are excluded.
3. Warranty repairs may only be carried out by authorized Alfiltra dealers or Alfiltra partners. Repairs performed by third parties are not covered by this warranty, as such repairs and any resulting damage to the device are not covered.
4. If the device is to be operated in a country other than the one for which it was originally designed and manufactured, modifications may be necessary to adapt it to the technical and/or safety standards of that other country. Such modifications are not due to defects in materials or workmanship and are not covered by this warranty. The costs of such modifications, as well as any resulting damage to the device, will not be reimbursed.
5. The following are excluded from the warranty:
a) Regular inspections, maintenance and repair or replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear;
b) Transport and travel costs as well as costs incurred through the assembly and disassembly of the equipment;
c) Misuse and improper use of the device as well as incorrect installation;
d) Damage caused by lightning, water, fire, force majeure, war, incorrect mains voltage, inadequate ventilation or other reasons beyond Alfiltra's control.
6. This warranty is product-related and can be claimed within the warranty period by any person who has legally acquired the device.
7. The buyer's rights under the applicable national legislation, i.e. The buyer's rights and warranty claims against the seller arising from the purchase agreement, as well as other rights, are not affected by this guarantee. Unless otherwise provided by national legislation, the buyer's claims are limited to the points specified in this guarantee.
