Since the water pressure from the main line is approx. 9-10 bar, it should be reduced to approx. 4-5 bar, which is also possible with this if dirt from the main line gets into the filter, it can be rinsed.

The old water filter should be replaced with a filter with backwash...
The old water filter should be replaced with a filter with backwash. The filter on offer has this feature and also a pressure regulator. The change was solely for convenience in order to avoid the constant change of filter fleece. Changing the fleece is ultimately also a cost issue. The new filter will pay for itself very quickly.
