How is the hardness test kit used? Here is an explanation:

Instructions for use for titration set for determining total hardness in °dH

• Rinse the test tube well with the water to be tested
• Fill the test tube up to the 5 ml mark with the water to be tested
• Add titrant solution drop by drop and gently swirl/shake after each drop. Count drops until the color changes from red to green.

Please note that with a water hardness of 0°dH, the color changes to green immediately after the first drop.
