We define ultrapure water as water that has been purified to the highest standards. That means:

Production of ultrapure water

To produce ultrapure water, you need a reverse osmosis system, which already supplies highly pure water, but does not yet meet the requirements for ultrapure water. That's why a demineralization cartridge is usually installed after reverse osmosis , which filters the remaining substances out of the water. In this way, the requirements for the conductivity of the water are achieved. When combining the components, one can also speak of an ultrapure water system.

Areas of application for ultrapure water

Ultrapure water is required, for example, for the following applications:

  • Medical purposes
  • Industrial cleaning
  • Protection for sensitive systems
