Well water is often not suitable as drinking water. Iron, mangane, ammonium, and nitrate concentration values (or values of any other substances) often surpass the limit value of the drinking water ordinance. Furthermore, well water can be polluted by germs, which cannot be neglected. This is why we offer special plants for well water treatment such as our Penta multifiltration plants, special nitrate filters or disinfection plants.
Penta Multifiltration PlantsAlfiltra multifiltration plants offer you many advantages all in one. Through its special ion exchange process, this filter is able to filtrate various substances from water which cause problems in well water. Dissolved iron, dissolved mangane, organic substances, ammonium, and water hardness are filtered from water. The regeneration works with usual softener salt so the filter material does not have to be exchanged.
Nitrate FiltersNitrate filters function a similar way as softening plants. Through the ion exchange process nitrate is taken from water and exchanged with natrium. This neutral exchange process does not change the pH-level.
Nitrate filters are needed when the nitrate content exceeds 50 mg/l. High nitrate values are bad for soil as well as your health. It is especially life-threatening for infants because it cannot be decomposed by their bodies.
Since increased nitrate values are mainly caused by overfertilization, rural areas are most effected by nitrate surplus.
Disinfection PlantsWe offer various solutions for drinking water disinfection, UV disinfection plants and BAXERO dosage. Both processes offer different advantages.
UV disinfection works without any chemistry and is environmentally friendly. The water is disinfected by UV-rays because the light eliminates bacteria and germs.
The BAXERO dosage has the advantage that no chlorine gas can form and that it is pH-neutral. It is especially recommended as legionella protection or in public swimming pools.
