Penta multi-filter systems

Penta multi-filter systems from Alfiltra offer you several advantages in one. Thanks to the special ion exchange process, this filter is able to filter several substances from the water that often cause problems with well water. Dissolved iron, dissolved manganese, organic matter, ammonium and the total hardness are filtered out of the water. Regeneration takes place with normal softening salt. This means that the filter material does not need to be changed.

Nitrate filters work in a similar way to our water softening systems. The ion exchange process removes nitrate from the water and exchanges it for sodium. This neutral exchange process does not change the pH value of the water.

Nitrate filters are required when the nitrate content of the water exceeds 50 mg/l. High nitrate levels are bad for the soil and health alike. Nitrate is life-threatening, especially for babies, because the body cannot break it down.

Since increased nitrate levels are mainly caused by over-fertilization, nitrate surpluses occur primarily in rural areas.

UV disinfection works without chemicals and is environmentally friendly. The water is disinfected with UV radiation because the UV light kills bacteria and germs.

The dosage of BAXERO offers the advantage that no chlorine gas is produced and the agent is pH-neutral. BAXERO is particularly recommended as protection against legionella or in swimming pools.
