Why is a softening system worthwhile?

Are your household appliances constantly calcified? Limescale can often not only be seen on the tap. Limescale deposits can be observed more frequently on the shower head, on bathroom drains, in the coffee machine and in the kettle. Much worse, however, are the limescale deposits that we cannot see in everyday life.
Limescale deposits in the hot water boiler or in the pipes can have fatal consequences:
- The limescale layer on the heating coils increases the energy consumption in the hot water boiler
- Impairment of the pipeline network due to reduced flow. This leads to the complete sealing of the pipes.
Not to forget: detergent consumption
The detergent dosage depends directly on the hardness of the water. The higher the water hardness, the more lime soap is formed.
To compensate for this effect, more detergent must be added. With a descaling system, the dosage of some detergents can even be halved.
The advantages of a softening system:
- There will no longer be any damage to house installations and household appliances
- You save a lot of descaling agents and need a significantly smaller amount of detergent
- You can completely avoid fabric softener
- Since the heating coils in the hot water boilers are no longer blocked with a layer of lime, you save energy through shorter heating times (even a layer of lime of 1 mm increases the energy requirement by approx. 15%!!)
