Since I didn't have a backwash filter installed yet, but it is needed for the system, the technician installed it. The backwash filter is used to filter particles from the water supply line in front of the system in order not to contaminate them and thus not endanger functionality. The filter should be flushed approximately every 6 months, or depending on how dirty it is. Simply turn on the tap and rinse the filter. Works very simply.
